March 28-29, 2026 Trial Documents are Available

All trial documents for the Mid-Atlantic MADness “March MADness” trial (our 66th trial) are now available for viewing/download:

The posted Running Order is a draft; the finalized one should be posted sometime on Friday. If you see an issue with it or with the information in your individual received final confirmation, please notify the trial secretary Janet Gauntt as soon as possible; they are so much easier to correct the sooner they are caught.

Course Diagrams will be posted at this site each morning at 3am

Premium is Available for March 28-29 March MADness trial

The premium is now posted for our March MADness trial at the Oriole Dog Training Club in Halethorpe, MD.

Our officiating judge is Terry Smorch.

As usual, this trial provides a nice warm way (climate controlled on artficial turf!) to get those titling Q in addition to the tournament Q’s needed for the regionals and for Cynosport (aka the USDAA Nationals).

Entry fees for the titling classes are the typical low cost of $16 per titling class. Most classes offer titling at all levels (Starters through Masters). One class each day is offered for Masters only, but please note that dogs of any level may enter ANY class at this trial, including those Masters titling classes. Per USDAA policy, if you are not yet showing in Masters and you ‘Q’, that ‘Q’ will be ‘banked’ for you.

RV’ers note: Oriole DTC does allow a limited number of RVs to stay overnight on the grounds, by pre-arrangement only.

Premium is Available for Jan 3-4 “New Year 2026” trial

The premium is now posted for our ‘Bringing in the New Year’ trial at the Oriole Dog Training Club in Halethorpe, MD. This trial as usual is all about the team tournament. This year we are offering a Two Dog Team format; look for our cool prizes as usual including the “Rookie Team” prize (picture below is of the 2025 prizes). Other class offerings include a Grand Prix, Steeplechase, and several titling classes.

Our officiating judge is Ashley Anderson and our designing judge is Meagan Johnson.

Entry fees for the titling classes are the typical low cost of $15 per titling class. “But wait, “, those of you with a dog still early in their skills journey say, “the only titling classes are for Masters!”. Please note – dogs of any level may enter ANY class at this trial, including those Masters titling classes. Per USDAA policy, if you are not yet showing in Masters and you ‘Q’, that ‘Q’ will be ‘banked’ for you.
